Burj2Burj has been created by Warrick Mac Nicol in partnership with Rebel Affair, a UAE-based event company. The team have extensive experience of running high profile and community sporting events across the UAE and Gulf.
The race is fully sanctioned and endorsed by Dubai Sports Council, and has full cooperation of Dubai Police and the Road Traffic Authority (RTA).
The race route is has been developed by runners for runners. It’s tailored for speed, with long straight stretches and few turns, plus elevations at key points to use muscles differently and thereby provide temporary rest to re- energize runners. We expect many personal bests to be beaten, and perhaps road-running records.
