Race morning starts well before the gun goes off. How you get to the start and how you leave the finish play a big role in how calm and prepared you feel.

For Burj2Burj 2026, access to both the start and finish areas is carefully managed due to early road closures. Below is everything you need to know to plan and arrive with confidence.

Start Shuttles

The official start shuttles take you directly from selected pick-up locations across Dubai to the Burj2Burj 2026 start location. No parking stress, no navigating road closures, just arrive, hop on, and focus on the run ahead.

IMPORTANT

• Start Shuttles are available to purchase until 31 January 2026 or until capacity is reached.
• Each time slot has limited spaces and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• If you miss your booked shuttle, you may join the next one, provided space is available.
• Start Shuttle tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Shuttle times cannot be changed once booked.

FINISH SHUTTLES

Free finish shuttles will be available on race day to support runners after crossing the finish line. The shuttle service operates on Sunday 8 Feb from 05h30 to 15h00, with buses running continuously throughout this period.

The shuttle pick up and drop off zone is located a short walk from the finish, approximately 500m. Clear signage and on ground crew will guide runners from the finish area to the shuttle zone.

This free shuttle service is available to all runners and does not require advance booking. Runners are advised to follow event signage and crew instructions on the day to ensure a smooth flow for everyone.

PARKING

For convenience on race day, we recommend using taxis or ride-sharing apps when travelling to and from the Start and Finish village.

There are multiple parking options within walking distance of the start village.

‍

Runners who plan to drive are encouraged to arrive early and allow time to walk to the start. Please follow event signage and instructions from officials on race morning.

Parking availability is subject to race morning access and early arrivals are strongly recommended.

The closest available parking is at Dubai Police Academy, located approximately 4km from the finish village and available free of charge.

Due to the distance, runners are encouraged to use finish shuttles or taxis instead of parking near the finish.

Due to road closures, taxis will be directed to approved drop-off points, followed by a short walk to the start village. If using a taxi or ride-hailing app, allow extra time and expect diversions.

Taxi Drop Off Near the Finish

Taxis and ride-hailing services are recommended for leaving the finish area, along with finish shuttles.

Pick-up will operate from designated zones only, with volunteers and signage guiding runners once roads begin to reopen. Direct access to the finish line will not be possible.
