Managing Your Burj2Burj 2026 Entry
We understand that plans change. Whether it’s an injury, travel conflict, or simply a change in your race goals, you still have options to keep your Burj2Burj journey alive. While Burj2Burj entries are non-refundable, runners can either defer their entry to 2027 or transfer it to another runner before 30 November 2025 for a small processing fee of AED 50.
Deferrals: Move Your Race to 2027
If you can’t run Burj2Burj 2026, deferring lets you keep your spot for next year.
How to Defer:
A deferral fee of AED 50 applies. No deferrals will be allowed after 30 November 2025, except in the case of a medical emergency. If that’s the case, supporting documentation will be required.
Note: You can only defer to 2027.
Transfers: Pass It On
If you can’t race but know someone who would love to, you can transfer your entry to another runner. It’s simple and keeps your registration in the community.
How to Transfer:
You’ll need the name and email address of the new runner. During the process, you can choose whether to pay the AED 50 transfer fee yourself or have the receiving runner cover it.
Transfers are only available until 30 November 2025, so make sure to act early if needed.
We believe every runner’s journey matters, even if your race day plans shift. Whether you defer or transfer, you’re still part of the community that makes Dubai’s iconic half marathon special.
