The new Burj2Burj 2027 route is here. On 24 January, you'll start at Coca-Cola Arena and run through Dubai to the finish at Sunset Beach, with Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf within view.
We're taking you on a new route through Dubai, with the skyline views and iconic sections that have become part of what runners love about Burj2Burj. The Sheikh Zayed Road bridge, the Dubai Canal Bridge and the finish with Burj Al Arab within view are all part of the 2027 route.
Along the way, you'll see the landmarks that make Dubai's skyline so recognisable, from the Museum of the Future and One Za'abeel to Downtown Dubai, with Burj Khalifa and Address Sky View forming part of the backdrop.
If you've run Burj2Burj before, there's a new route to get to know. If you're joining us for the first time, this is the Dubai you'll be running through.
You've done the training, you're surrounded by runners and the months of preparation become the run you've been looking forward to. In 2027, there's a new Burj2Burj route to experience as you find your pace and make your way through the city.
Returning runners have something fresh to look forward to, alongside the views they'll remember from their last race. If you've been wondering whether to run Burj2Burj again, this is a chance to see it differently.
The route brings Coca-Cola Arena, the Museum of the Future, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and One Za'abeel into your race-day experience. These are places many of us know from journeys around Dubai. Seeing them on foot, with fellow runners sharing the road, gives you another way to experience the city.
Your Burj2Burj 2027 experience starts at Coca-Cola Arena, in the heart of Dubai, with the city's skyline as your backdrop.
It's where the training becomes race day. You'll be there with runners taking on their first half-marathon, others coming back for another Burj2Burj and those chasing a new personal best. Everyone has their own reason for being there, with the same distance ahead.
For returning runners, this new start is something to look forward to before you've even taken your first steps. For first-timers, it's your introduction to a half-marathon that takes you through some of Dubai's most recognisable views.

Dubai has plenty of familiar views, but there's something different about seeing them during a half-marathon. You're out of the car, moving through the city and noticing the buildings around you as the kilometres add up.
From your start at Coca-Cola Arena, you'll have the distinctive shape of the Museum of the Future, the twin towers of Jumeirah Emirates Towers and One Za'abeel to take in along the way.
Then there's the Downtown Dubai skyline, with Burj Khalifa and Address Sky View in view. Whether you live here or you're travelling to Dubai for the race, it's a view that makes this course unmistakably part of the city.
Some runners will be focused on their watch and a target time. Others will be taking in as much of the route as they can. Whichever way you run, these landmarks will be part of your Burj2Burj story, giving you something to remember long after you've checked your result.
We know there are sections returning runners will want to see again. The 2027 route keeps both the Sheikh Zayed Road bridge and the Dubai Canal Bridge, so those familiar moments are still ahead of you.
On the Sheikh Zayed Road bridge, you'll have a view of the Downtown Dubai skyline, including Burj Khalifa and Address Sky View. It's a chance to see the city open up around you while you're in the middle of running through it.
For someone running Burj2Burj for the first time, it's a section to look forward to. For someone coming back, it might be the view they remember most clearly from their last race. Either way, it earns its place on the course.
The Dubai Canal Bridge also remains part of the route, bringing another familiar Dubai setting into your half-marathon. These sections remain part of the new route, keeping the views runners already associate with Burj2Burj at the heart of the experience.
There'll be effort on the bridges too, of course. They're part of the run, and knowing they're coming can help you picture your race as you train. But when you get there, give yourself a moment to look up and take in where you are.
The finish stays at its iconic location, Sunset Beach, with Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf within view. After running through the city, you'll arrive by the coast, with cheers from the community carrying you through those final metres.
It's the finish runners know and love, and it remains part of the new route for 2027.
For returning runners, that's a view worth coming back for. You might be arriving with a faster time, running alongside someone new or simply enjoying another half-marathon through Dubai. The surroundings will be familiar, but what you've put into getting there will be your own.
If this is your first Burj2Burj, you'll get to experience that finish for yourself on 24 January. From the start to the final stretch, you'll have covered a route shaped by some of the city's best-known landmarks.
